Blue Dart Packers and Movers β€” Terms and Conditions

Yeh Terms and Conditions ("Terms") Blue Dart Packers and Movers ki services use karne ke liye governing rules hain. Humari website use karke ya services avail karke, aap in Terms ko accept karte hain.

1. Definitions

  • "Company" refers to Blue Dart Packers and Movers
  • "Customer" / "You" means the person or entity availing services
  • "Services" includes packing, moving, storage, car/bike transport, warehousing, and related logistics
  • "Quote" means written estimate provided by Company for services
  • "Goods" means items provided by Customer for packing/transportation

2. Service Agreement

2.1 Quote and Booking

Quote issue hone ke baad 30 days tak valid rehta hai (unless otherwise specified). Booking confirmation se services ka agreement bindingly start hota hai. Customer ko move date se 24 hours pehle tak cancellation ka option hai without any charges.

2.2 Customer Obligations

Customer ko yeh ensure karna hoga:

  • Accurate information provide karna β€” list of goods, weight, dimensions
  • Valid identification aur address proof provide karna
  • Access provide karna both locations pe (pickup aur delivery)
  • Valuable items (jewelry, cash, documents, legal papers) SELF-handle karna β€” hum transport nahi karte
  • Prohibited items (explosives, illegal goods, perishables beyond 24 hours) not handover karna
  • Timely payment karna as per agreed terms

3. Pricing and Payment

3.1 Pricing

All prices mentioned are in Indian Rupees (INR), inclusive of applicable GST (18%) unless otherwise mentioned. Additional charges may apply for:

  • Floor level above 2nd floor without elevator
  • Long carry distance (>50 meters from truck)
  • Weekend or holiday moves (15-20% premium)
  • Peak season surcharge (March-June, September-November)
  • Special item handling (piano, safe, marble)
  • Toll taxes, octroi, state entry taxes for interstate moves

3.2 Payment Terms

  • Individual clients: Zero advance, 100% payment on successful delivery
  • Corporate clients: 30-60 days credit on PO-based billing (for established accounts)
  • International moves: 30% advance, 40% on loading, 30% on delivery
  • Accepted payment modes: Cash, UPI, Bank Transfer, Cheque, Corporate Invoice

4. Insurance and Liability

4.1 Transit Insurance

Standard Goods-in-Transit (GIT) insurance up to β‚Ή10 lakhs is included. Higher declared value coverage available at 2-3% premium. Insurance covers:

  • Fire damage
  • Theft (with FIR filed)
  • Road accident damages
  • Water damage during transit
  • Handling/loading damages

4.2 Claims Process

Damages must be reported within 24 hours of delivery with photographic evidence. Claims processed within 15-30 working days after insurance company approval. Customer cooperation required for survey aur documentation.

4.3 Exclusions (Not Covered)

  • Pre-existing damage (noted in condition report)
  • Normal wear and tear
  • Damage due to improper self-packing (where customer packed themselves)
  • Consequential losses (business interruption, rental expenses)
  • Perishable items damage
  • Force majeure events (natural disasters, war, strikes, government actions)
  • Valuables not declared

5. Delivery Timelines

Estimated delivery times are best-effort, not guaranteed:

  • Local (within 50 km): Same day
  • Regional (200-500 km): 1-2 days
  • Long-distance (500-1500 km): 3-5 days
  • Pan-India (1500+ km): 5-10 days
  • International: 30-60 days (depends on destination)

Delays due to weather, traffic, strikes, government restrictions, ya force majeure events beyond our control β€” company not liable for consequential damages.

6. Cancellation and Refund Policy

  • More than 7 days before move date: Full refund (if any advance paid)
  • 3-7 days before move: 80% refund
  • 24-72 hours before: 50% refund
  • Less than 24 hours: No refund
  • If Company cancels: Full refund within 7 days + alternative arrangement offered

7. Intellectual Property

All content on website β€” logo, text, images, graphics β€” is property of Blue Dart Packers and Movers. Unauthorized use, reproduction, or distribution prohibited without written permission.

8. Limitation of Liability

Company's total liability for any single claim cannot exceed:

  • Declared insurance value, OR
  • Actual service charges paid, OR
  • β‚Ή10 lakhs standard limit

Whichever is lower. Company not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.

9. Dispute Resolution

Disputes first resolved through good-faith negotiation. If unresolved within 30 days, subject to:

  • Jurisdiction: Courts of New Delhi, India
  • Arbitration: As per Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996 (for claims above β‚Ή10 lakhs)
  • Consumer Forum: Customer's right to approach consumer forum preserved

10. Modifications

Company reserves the right to modify these Terms anytime. Significant changes will be notified via email/website. Continued use of services constitutes acceptance of modified Terms.

11. Governing Law

These Terms governed by laws of India, specifically applicable to the state of Delhi.
